Business Intelligence - Business Analyst - Technical Consultant
An opportunity exists for someone who has the rare ability to match business needs with technology and be hands on with the development of client solutions. It provides a varied work experience covering the business analysis, design, development and implementation of Business Intelligence in conjunction with business optimisation and planning tools.
We are the exclusive distributor of a leading US based Integrated Business Planning (IBP) technology within South Africa and other international markets. Our technology partners have built their solutions around Microsoft’s SharePoint and Silverlight technologies and are Microsoft Certified Gold Partners.
We are looking for an individual who is a self starter and who will be instrumental in aligning our solutions with those of our key technology partner and building the organisations internal capabilities and resources. As is typical in a smaller organisation, applicants must be willing to get involved at various levels and functions within the organisation.
The applicant seeking to fill this position should ideally possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of Business Analysis experience
- University Degree
- Excellent communication skills
- An ability to analyse and interpret business needs from all levels of users. Particular experience in process or supply chain related business a distinct advantage
- Project Management skills
- Team skills
- BI & data warehouse experience is an advantage, including experience with OLAP tools such as SQL Server Analysis Services, SharePoint, Cognos, Crystal, Hyperion, Business Objects
- Silverlight, .NET experience, VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net
- Microsoft Certifications would be an advantage
- ERP experience is an advantage.
- Experience implementing scorecards for Balanced Scorecard, 6 Sigma or other methodology
