Executive Specialist - Finance and Cost accounting
- Location: Johannesburg - Northern Suburbs Sandton
- Basic Salary: R 500 000,00 Per Annum
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and exciting business specialising in the field of Integrated Business Planning. The successful candidate will be directly involved in the launch of the firm's services into the financial fraternity.
He / she will be responsible for developing in-house skills and capacity, as well as extending the solution offering into the financial divisions of target clients. They must be prepared to rapidly develop deep expertise with a complex strategic modelling tool and become an authority within the organisation for the application of the technology's financial capabilities.
A fundamental part of the role will be business case development / ROI model developmental for clients in order to justify their investment in the technology. The role will include the following activities;
- Business development and pre-sales
- Marketing and demand creation activities
- Ongoing liaison and with the overseas principal
Job Skills Required:
- Relevant graduate or post graduate qualification
- At least 5 years financial experience in business
- A previously varied exposure across industries a distinct advantage
- Exposure or involvement in process industries would be beneficial
- Considerable Activity Based Costing experience
- Ability to analyse and interpret financial statements
- Experience with advanced spreadsheet modelling and good spreadsheet skills
- A good understanding of database technology a clear advantage
- Good communication and presentation skills are a specific requirement
- Self starter who can work independently
- Project management experience would be an advantage
- Previous sales and or sales support experience in large scale engagements an advantage
- Experience in corporate strategy would be advantageous
