Scottish Water selects BMA to map its journey to Net Zero Emissions

As Net Zero takes on increased importance, water and wastewater systems are a key focus area for reducing carbon emissions. Scottish Water has selected UK software and AI-powered Decision-Intelligence company, BMA, to develop optimal decarbonisation pathways for wastewater process emissions.

By leveraging BMA’s next-gen AI decision intelligence software platform, Decisio™, Scottish Water will enhance its operational, tactical, and strategic capabilities for outstanding performance in achieving Net Zero targets, and be able to make adaptive, data-driven investment decisions more efficiently and cost-effectively.

Scottish Water and BMA will collaborate during a multi-year framework that develops not only Net Zero Pathway Planning but also extends the existing comprehensive planning solution for optimising bioresources.

BMA’s Decisio™ Cloud for Water (C4W) – Net Zero Pathways solution provides Scottish Water with a comprehensive approach to progressing their journey to Net Zero. By rapidly mapping and evaluating future investment pathways to Net Zero infrastructure, the solution goes beyond static carbon emissions reporting. With visibility into emissions across the whole connected operational value chain, Scottish Water can strategically pinpoint opportunities to accelerate its journey to Net Zero.
